What is imago?

We are working on the next major upgrade to hhimagehost. And we are going to call it imago ("eh-mah-goh"). Hhimagehost isn't going away for the upcoming school year. But during this summer and fall, imago will be available in beta. With that launch, we want to start offering opportunities for you to learn how to use imago for your volume business and sales operations.

What do you mean, "beta"?

Meaning as much as we are testing now, we want to be real that we will likely find things that need to adjust through that first season.

What should I tell my customers about imago?

After testing imago for yourself, we recommend you pick a handful of schools or leagues that you have a strong relationship with. You can let them know you’re going to be introducing a new customer shopping experience and they are going to be the first to have access. You can tell them about some of the parts you like most about it. And like anything new they may experience something unexpected. Ask them if that happens to communicate that to you so you can pass it on to your team (us) to take care of it ASAP.

What's different about imago?

We’ve taken all the best parts of hhimagehost and asked ourselves, "Knowing what we know now, what would we do different?" One of the big things is the concept of the customer journey. hhimagehost is a great resource to help your sales model of focusing 80%+ of your sales within a few weeks before or after picture day (depending on prepay vs proof). And then follow up with an auto-fulfill gallery to handle the trickle of orders over the next few months. The part we would do different is how much work it takes to set all that up. On hhimagehost, to support a typical fall prepay plus 2nd sale for the late orders, you’ve got to create two events with their own url, marketing, and price lists. And sometimes that can be complicated and confusing. But with imago when you setup the project, you will choose the customer journey you want for your customers and imago will only ask you the questions needed to create that journey for this one url. There is so much more to say. And we are just starting to get the word out as we get closer to beta testing phase. But click here to learn more: get.theimago.io

And if that sounds like something you want to learn in person:
