G. Michael Photography Lois Alberts

Lois Alberts co-owns G. Michael Photography in Spring, Texas with her husband Gregg. Currently, G. Michael Photography provides school photographic services to a niche market of private schools in and around Houston, Texas. Most of their school clients have been customers for between 15 and 24 years and Lois attributes this excellent retention rate with the high level of service that she and Gregg provide and their attention to detail when it comes to every aspect of their school photography program. Lois’ primary area of responsibility is Customer Acquisition, Customer Retention, Customer Service and Post Production on all school volume jobs. She has been an early adopter of many services offered by H&H Color Lab and is extremely familiar with their HHSchools software and HHImageHost platform. Lois believes strongly in controlling any messaging relating to G. Michael Photography and to this end has been marketing direct to parents of client schools for the past 15 years. She was thrilled to partner with H&H after they released their Marketing Funnel communication functionality back in the Fall of 2022 and attributes the effective use of that feature with a reduction in customer service calls and an increase in buy rates and per person sales. Lois graduated from The University of Houston with a Masters Degree in Public Administration and worked for Harris County, METRO, and the City of Bellaire before meeting Gregg and talking him into starting a business together. Lois LOVES spending time at her and Gregg’s condo in Puerto Morelos, Mexico, drinking tropical drinks in their in-home Tiki Bar, and dancing in her pool all summer long as she sings loudly and badly to her favorite R&B Songs. Lois has 2 main claims to fame of which she is pretty proud. First, at age 8 she was on the front page of the San Antonio newspaper sitting on LBJ’s lap as she gifted the ex-President with a bottle of Brut cologne. And she was the city-wide Bicycle Rodeo champion in San Antonio in 4th Grade . . . quite a big deal for a little girl whose bike was her prized possession.
