Where is the event being held?
We will be going all over Kansas City, MO for various activities throughout the week—the main base of operations will be Summit Christian Academy in Lee's Summit for some live photo shoots. So it will be good to uber, rent a car or carpool. Either way, you're going to need access to wheels. We will not have a bus for you.

You will need to share a ride, uber or rent a car for the bootcamp. We will be in the same location for learning, but will be all around the city for our evening activities. Hotels are 10-20 minutes away from the meeting space.
Join the schools+sports bootcamp community through your portal to connect with other people coming so you all can rideshare or find a roommate!
Where to Stay
We recommend the Drury in Independence. Most evenings there are many attendees hanging out in the lobby sharing ideas and building relationships. You can stay wherever you choose, but you will miss out on some good conversations. Either way, you are responsible for making your lodging arrangements.

Each day is a new adventure and has its own needs. We will share more specifics as time gets closer, but at the very least you will want to bring a change of clothes (with comfy shoes), your camera and a laptop.

Monday June 10th
Tailgating and Royals Baseball Game

Be sure to RSVP if you are going to come! Join us for a traditional tailgating experience at Kauffman Stadium and then enjoy the Kansas City Royals as they take on the New York Yankees!
One ticket is included with the bootcamp. Family is welcome to join in the fun! Let us know if you want to purchase another ticket. Additional tickets are $30. Parking is NOT included with your bootcamp ticket.

Open House at H&H Color Lab

Join us at the lab for an evening of talks, tours and tacos!! You won’t want to miss this evening as we pull back the curtain to show you where the magic happens! Meet our staff, ask questions, touch and feel products, and visit with each other over food and drink!
Wednesday, June 12th
The KC Chiefs + Downtown Lee’s Summit
Ever want to know what it is like to be an NFL photographer? Well, tonight you will find out. Spend the evening with Steve Sanders, the head of the Kansas City Chiefs photography department. He will share how he went from a professional wedding/portrait/school photographer to the head photographer for the KC Chiefs. If you are a sports fan, you won’t want to miss this!
After the program we will head to downtown Lee’s Summit for dinner & drinks. Grab your new friends and head to some of our favorite restaurants and bars to round out our evening. There are many amazing local restaurants and unique bars to explore together! Dinner on your own.
Thursday, June, 13th
Time to head home
It’s been an amazing week of learning and fun! Feel free to book your flights out after 5pm. Summit Christian Academy is only 45 minutes from the airport. We have a small airport that is easy to get in and out of, so we recommend you arrive 1 hour before your flight is scheduled to leave.
